Understand the Bible in a new and innovative way! (2/2 people found this helpful)
One of the difficulties and problems for people who read the Bible is the fact that it is often difficult to understand the context that certain books were written. One example are the minor prophet books... Where do they fit within the framework of Israel's history? Upon reading this chronological perspective of the Bible, however, one has more of a sense of context, perspective, and it truly does enrich the reading experience (especially when coupled with a heart and mind open to the Holy Spirit of God).
The other great thing about this particular Bible is that it is broken down into calendar days so that one could read the Bible within one year. This could be a beautiful journey for a youth group or adult group when coupled with discussions and teaching.
This Bible is highly recommended to old and new Christians alike.
