Well ilustrated and easy to follow guide. Good level of detail and lots of "Recommended wines to try" and "quick guides".
So rather than just being a theoretical textbook it could be used to actually get involved with the wines and taste them. The listed wines cover a range of budgets.
Also an enjoyable read in its own right a pleasure to dip in and out of as a general coffee table book but would be highly prized by anyone with an interest in Bordeaux and its wines or anyone wanting to learn more about them.
