Reader Reviews:Not a "How to do it" (5/5 people found this helpful)I found this book a pleasant read, and an interesting insight into the world of professional tango. However, I can't agree that: "This easy to understand guide will enable you to learn the intricate steps of the tango, and within a short time allow you to master this dance of romance and passion." A few pages are devoted to the very basics, but that's all. Almost as good as dancing (6/9 people found this helpful)This book is fascinating for anyone who dances the tango, but is also interesting for those that don't. It's structure is a bit weird, but once you get used to it, the biography's of the tango dancers are most inspiring. The list of worldwide tango venues is useful for anyone that travels and the history of the tango is short and to the point. My only complaint is that I would have liked more..
