I owe all the titles in the Osprey Campaign series and I just finished to read the 150th of them (Khe Sanh). And as longtime fan (not sparing criticism when it is deserved) I state hereby loud and clear - this is one of the best in the series! Very clearly written, with a solid background events picture, a poignant description of the fight itself, great maps and purely delicious colour plates (and three of them too, unlike in some of more recent issues...) - this is a treasure. To buy and keep!

Angus Konstams excursion in to the period is boring and doesn't come to life. This book was one of the ones that kicked off the Osprey "quantity not quality" marketing concept, thinking the customer would pay for anything...prove them wrong by avoiding this volume...
