Reader Reviews:Introduces the reader to the best of the New York film scene (2/2 people found this helpful)As with all the projection series of books, Projections 11 is composed of interviews, this time with film makers who are working in the New York film scene. The book contains interviews with the likes of Spike Lee to Jim Jarmusch stopping off at Sidney Lumet at some point inbetween. What is on offer is an insight into the relationship between some of the best American filmmakers and the enviroment they inhabit. Although Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese are missed, the book is the best guide to the New York film scene.
