I urge everyone to read this book - I know a lot of educated men and women who had absolutely NO idea that women had been recruited by NASA back in 1958 and had excelled in the grueling astronaut tests - only to be rejected by petty minded insecure men. It's all so very predictable but needs to be written into the history books.
