Reader Reviews:A real gem (0/0 people found this helpful)For the past few years I've found myself cooking the same sorts of dishes, spending a couple of hours in the kitchen, making something that would last a few nights. But they weren't particularly exciting; not the 10th time around, at least. The odd take-away or pre-packed meal got me through the end of the week when I was too tired to cook.
Its in rags (11/13 people found this helpful)Some years back I bought a min-pengiun version of this book. The recipts were so good that I persuaded my Mun to give me the full version for my birthday. That was in 1995! The receipts are simple, fast and refreshing... I still find new twists on old thems after all these years.
A book to return to again and again. (20/20 people found this helpful)My copy of this is practically worn out so I am about to purchase another one.
A dull book this is (10/34 people found this helpful)I had high hopes for this book. I am a keen and getting keener maker of dinners and on first glance this book isn't helpfull.
