Reader Reviews:FRUIT,FRUIT AND MORE FRUIT (0/0 people found this helpful)I had high hopes for this book but Nigel sadly let me down. Thia book centralises around fruit so for all us chocolate, toffee and sponge lovers it really doesn't appeal. I was expecting simple but tasty recipes however most of these 'recipes' seem to be a base of some fruit with a variety of different sauces, which I really dont count as a recipe! buy this book (20/22 people found this helpful)I love this book, it has made fruit so much more exciting. I shot out and bought a handful of different liquers and haven't looked back. For the first time I feel confident about making puddings as well as mains. Hurrah! The perfect compliment to Real Fast Food, deliciously sinful (35/36 people found this helpful)Another gem from Nigel Slater. This book is designed as a compliment to Real Fast Food and is just as good. There are so many good ideas and all the recipes provide excellent jumping-off points, even for the inexperienced. His emphasis on freshness and flavour over complicated recipes is refreshing and makes cooking a joy, not a chore. My favourite section is the short descriptions of all the goodies that it might be nice to keep in your kitchen - a wonderful indulgence. Similar ProductsAppetite: So What Do You Want to Eat Today?
