Reader Reviews:A witty and colourful trip on your children's reading path (0/0 people found this helpful)This book was put together by Lennon as a 'learn to read' exercise for his young child Sean. If you fancy introducing your offspring into the wonderful world of puns and wit, then take a good look at it! I came to this book with an appreciation of Lennon's drawings- the simplicity of his sketches underlined with a wicked sense of fun have always been their trademark- and I was not dissapointed. The added colours bring out a beautiful side to the illustrations that might not initially be obvious, and this alone will capture the imagination of your children. We loved it and is a definite current favouritre with my lads. On a different level though, it's a charming and moving record of a man loving his boy and playing with, and encouraging that child to contribute and enjoy his or herself. Well worth purchasing, I hope you enjoy it too! CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
