Rehabilitation Nursing is a growing specialty, especially in the community. This book which is well laid out will assist any nurse to develop their practice in this field.
To those not used to a therapuetic approach to nursing their patient, the book will help you to use goal planning as part of your assessment tool and understand the underpinning theories and models used in rehabilitation nursing.
The book also has a good chapter on the role of the 'generic' worker, giving arguments supporting and challenging the role.
All in all this book covers the essentials that you need to know and sign posts to further information if needed.
