Reader Reviews:Film maybe?? (0/0 people found this helpful)Fiction at its best, the authors bridging of events are getting even better. I read the entire book in one day (the first day of my holiday in Ibiza) I just could not put it down. Cant wait till the next one! Excellent transition from biographer to storyteller (0/0 people found this helpful)This book represents the author's transition from factual biographer to full-scale storyteller. During the first couple of chapters I actually had to remind myself on a number of occasions that I was, in fact, reading a work of fiction - after which I became so absorbed in the story that it seemed immaterial whether I was or not! The author's descriptive ability is extraordinary: everything from full-scale family butcherings to how a 7 year old copes phychologically when it's her family that has just been butchered.I'm hoping this is the first of many as I've added Andy's name to my list of 'can't-wait-until-the-next-one-comes-out' authors! Fiction or Fact ? So true to life it gets you thinking. (0/0 people found this helpful)Andy's military background enables him to fill this book with such realism that it really is difficult to tell at times wether this is fictional or biographical as his earlier works were. The story is gripping and is one of the few books that had I the free time, I really could have read in one sitting.
