Guaranteed A* at GCSE! (1/1 people found this helpful)

I bought this book I had so many notes I just didn't know what to learn and did not have the time to go through all of them. I only revised for my GCSE from this book and scored a high A*. As long as you learn the condensed information this book gives you thoroughly, you cannot go wrong.

GSCE MWH use as a source (2/3 people found this helpful)

This is a fantastic textbook, covering a huge span of history in immaculate detail. In each chapter, it gives an introduction to the subject, then gives a short history of the events. What makes this book fantastic, however, is its enormous use of sources. Each page has, on average, 5 or more sources, both primary and secondary and when coupled with a good teacher, this book will teach students to evaluate and use sources.

An excellent textbook for G.C.S.E. students. (6/8 people found this helpful)

As a student of 15 studying the Modern World history for my gcse i can say this book is an excellent aid to the couse. in class we use this book as our history teacher ordered it for our class as he thought it was excellent. it is full of diagrams, simple explanations and some funny comments. ther are also focus tasks and questions on each particular topic which are neither boring or tedious and helps you to understand the subject.
Praiss to Ben Walsh.
