Reader Reviews:boosts reading desire (1/1 people found this helpful)These books are just perfect for girls around 4-5 to be read to and for them a little older to read themselves. My Daughter is so into these books she grabs every free moment to get me to read more. If possible it is best to have the next book at the ready as they continue on from each other. She is already asking me to buy another set of these books in the rainbow magic series. There is a great website that lists all the books written just search Daisy meadows in your Google and you will find it.
A great book for younger girls too! (4/4 people found this helpful)My daughter was given this for her 4th birthday and we have just finished reading it. She loved it! She had no idea that fairies were real and that magic really does exist! It was a lovely book to read together, we read a chapter a night before bed and each chapter ended on a cliffhanger so she couldn't wait for the next bedtime. The story was simple enough for her to understand but challenging enough to include some new vocabulary and phrases. Highly recommended. Fairy lover (1/1 people found this helpful)This book is magic. I am 7 now and my mum read this one to me a year ago. We both loved the story so much she bought the rest of the series, and the next and the next. I am now re-reading them by myself. I am having lots of fun reading them. Fairy adventure.... (3/3 people found this helpful)We bought this for our 6 year old as her first "chapter" book to read alone. She is glitter and fairy mad with an incredible appitite for dressing up and make believe. Having bought this book it has been like watching a real life piece of magic in our own home. She has spent hours reading to herself, only stopping to run and tell us the latest update. She is really discovering the magic of reading a story that grips your attention and keeps you wanting to know more. She relates to all of the characters and can't wait to get the rest for Christmas. OK, the quality of the literature may cause the more serious literary critic to frown but who cares? She's 6, she loves it and she wants to read more! As long as she learns to love reading she can read the classics in her own time. She is on the road to a lifelong love of books...she will never be bored. Fairies are fab!!!! (6/7 people found this helpful)Hi, my name is Lauren and I am 8. I have read 23 Rainbow Magic books now and one of them is Ruby the Red Fairy. It is adventurous because humans are not very likely to meet a fairy but 2 very lucky children help Ruby find her sisters in a series of magical adventures. Rainbow Magic books are brilliant for a child of my age so come and buy them - they will sweep you off your feet!
