The Rupert annuals have wonderful stories for children who like adventure and mystery! The stories are beautifully illustrated, and draw on all different kinds of myths, legends and fables; in this one annual we have elves, King Neptune, and even a Hippocampus! This is a great way to draw children into literature. Young Harry Potter fans will enjoy these.
They will also love the characters of Rupert and his friends.
The stories are: Rupert and the Coronation - Rupert & Ottline visit a mysterious castle in Nutwood.
Rupert & the Seaweed - Rupert and his best friend Bill are on holiday at their favourite "Rocky Bay". This time they encounter some strange seaweed, which draws them into an adventure with Tad the Merboy, King Neptune, and a ride on a Hippocampus!
Rupert's Birthday Adventure - Rupert, Bill and little Bea go on a Balloon Ride that takes them to the palace of the Bird King.
