Still as good as in the old days!!! (1/1 people found this helpful)

Even though the colours are a bit different, the drawings have been respected and Rupert and his friends all look the same as they did decades ago.
Please carry on producing these lovely story books because I'll definitely carry on buying them!

Bears forever!!!!!!!!! (1/1 people found this helpful)

This bear will live forever!!!!
This is a great book, I love Rupert the bear and even though it's meant for children, I can't stop buying the annual every year.
It brings back such lovely memories!!
I recommend you buy this book if you want a nice little trip down memory lane!

Nostalgia from a kinder world ! (7/7 people found this helpful)

The stories keep coming. As always the Rupert Annual never fails to delight with its 'stuck in time' adventures. Is there anybody on the planet who has never heard of the 'immortal' Rupert Bear, seemingly 'stuck' in a nostalgic english world. The Editor here has done a magnificent job - steering towards younger children but somehow getting it expertly right for its older devotees. Full of character and goodliness, this bear will be with us forever.

Long live Rupert Bear !

Enchanting, as usual. (2/2 people found this helpful)

Rupert has been a favorite since my childhood in England during the war years. I now continue the tradition each Xmas, here in California with my American granddaughter. We are both as delighted as always with the 2001 Annual. I don't know who is more thrilled, she or I.

Magic (3/4 people found this helpful)

Just read this book with my 5 year old girl - and we both loved it, and are now on the look out for more Rupert stories. The stories are full of magic, wonderful characters, unusual situations and adventures, and are perfectly illustrated.
