Now only a seasoned veteran may actually notice this and the reviewer may not be party to the behind the scenes Nutwood politics. but a Rupert annual should transport us into new worlds of chums, pixies, secret doors and strange flying machines, but with everything ending in smiles and bed by 8 pm. Not so in 2006 I'm afraid. If you haven't read the stories of baby Yetis, amateur Santa helpers and privet hedge peacocks before then it's off over the common to order your 2006 annual...
