Nothing useful for todays traveller - unless you fancy time travelling back to early 20th Century when you may want to request a porter to carry your luggage out to your automobile!

Negative points: flimsy, tiny, not many phrases per page, dated, some words/phrases appear to use Portuguese Portuguese and not Brazilian Portuguese.
Plus points: Contains some Portuguese words and phrases.

The publication date of 1955 means that you will search in vain for such useful expressions as "credit card" and "internet cafe"

Easy to read with all the phrases you need to know if you are travelling or learning Portugese. It includes all the pronunciations so you know exactly how to say a word. It is also small enough to fit into your pocket, ideal when you are travelling around. I am just about to move to Portugal and I can see this becoming my little language bible. This is the phrase book you want if you are a first timer to Portugal.
