Reader Reviews:Great Reference! (3/3 people found this helpful)I found this book to be an excellent introductory guide to some of the more advanced areas of Network Security, and a worthy counterpart to O'Reilly books that address single topics in depth. The editorial balance is well placed, remaining accessible to those in roles that are nominally non-technical while providing enough meat to be interesting to technical users. I would whole heartedly recommend this book to IT Managers looking to extend their understanding of general security issues and system administrators who want to fill holes in their knowledge and develop a more security-oriented attitude without being a security specialist.
