A race of shapechangers, war, royalty, this book has it all. The first in a series of books about a race of shapechangers and the prophecy they serve, how they must win back the throne of the land they are exiles from, and the trials and tribulations along the way. Two excellent novels in their own right with the added bonus of a short story set in the same time as the first. If you haven't previously read any of these books, now is the time to do so, they are fantasy unparalled, all in all an excellent read!
