A great book which is about a boy who finds an angel in his new house.
It is writen perfectly and is good for everyone even for thoese who are learning English.
I recomend this book to everyone.

Both my chldren were gripped by this book as well as myself. Indeed, I was reading this book to my dyslexic son of 11 years and finished the book myself before I had finished reading it to him. He thought it was excellent. I then went on to read it to my six-year-old daughter who also found it gripping and did not want me to put the book down. The short chapters are great when reading it to kids as they provide a good place to stop when bed-time reading. Mixing reality with fantasy, the story reveals a wonderful sensitivity between the charachters and leaves you with a feeling that this is what life should be about!

Breathtaking in its simplicity; profound in its understanding of both children and their view of adults -- this is one of the best children's books I've ever read! [And I'm 39, by the way.] It's sometimes hard to believe the hype that surrounds such great books -- and I'd therefore had trouble persuading my now 10-year-old son, Miles, to buy this. However, having recently met David Almond at this year's Cheltenham Literature Festival, I just had to get a copy (...now inscribed to my wife and I -- "but not Miles!"). Be prepared to be moved, whatever your age. Just thinking about this book gives me goose-pimples. A real treasure in children's literature....
