The first part of this book (36 pages) gives you the lowdown on many of the main fruits used in smoothies how to store prepare them etc. It also covers items you can add to the smoothies to add to the 'health' benefits.
Every smoothie has a full nutitional breakdown of the calories fat content as well as vitamins and minerals contained in it.
Each section is divided into superlow smoothies (less than 250 calories) and low smoothies(less than 350 calories)
I did find a problem in the book some of the fortified smoothies would be exorbiantly expensive to make with their vitamin C powder, Gingko biloba extract or Bees wax pollen. That said there are numerous delicious recipes that would be affordable and the fortified smoothies are only one section of the book.
It would be worth mentioning that this is an american book all the measurement are in Cups.
