Once you made a decision to buy this book you are just about to get one containing stories compiled from the four volumes of the Slovak tales books by Dobsinsky. My parents used to read those for me or i read them myself when i got older respectively. This book provides the most beautiful Slovak tales and is suitable both for children and grown-ups. As it has already been mentioned in the review above this book it can be read over and over again without getting bored of it and what is more i give you a guarantee that you will find it more and more exciting to read the tales. So if you are a fan of beautiful stories or you want your children to be impressed and get them excited do not hesitate and buy it. This is must have book. It is very special and very rare book of its kind in terms of being published in English so that it is available to everybody who is interested.

This book is truly beautiful and captivating, containing stories that are suitable for any age group. My father used to read these stories to me when I was a little girl. Now when I am an adult I concider these stories as beautiful as when i was a girl and love to return to them over again and again. It is only shame, that there is no more similar books from Dobsinsky. I remember we have at least 3 or 4 volumes in Slovakia being some of the most popular clasic books of its kind.
