This book not only introduces ATM & SNMP but goes straight to the point when it comes to questions like, how does ATM work with MIB's and hardware; how do I configure, monitor, setup a PVC/SVCs. It also provides worked examples, which are always useful to check you really get the message. Having read rfc's like 1695 and 1213 or, Stallings book on SNMP and CMIP; you are left with a bunch of diagrams and questions. Heng Pan's book ties it all together, redraws and improves your diagrams, and answers many of the questions enabling you to start development. As an experienced telecommunications NMS developer, but now moving to ATM Network Management this book is a very good starting poin
