Reader Reviews:Simply Brilliant! (0/0 people found this helpful)Forget the other books, read the truth.....fiction can be what you want, but the truth will never change. Mike - Welldone. Well worth it (0/1 people found this helpful)I would say this is the most honest and frank version of the illfated SAS mission into Iraq. Coburns style is easy to follow and adds depth to the other stories you may have read. Get it Honest (3/3 people found this helpful)After McNab and Ryan's accounts of the Bravo Two Zero mission, the Michael Asher's attempt to straighten it out, Mr Coburn's book comes across as completely honest. This book is definitely worth reading.
Wonderful!! (7/7 people found this helpful)Fantastic book! All the way through the horrifying events of the book, Coburn manages to keep his writing humorous and positive. Very well written indeed, it portrays the story really well. Very good writing. The only negative thing i have to say is it's a real shame he hasn't written any other books!! I have searched for other titles by him for ages and ages, hoping he would write something else like Geordie and Andy, and am tremendously disappointed.
Soldier Five (3/6 people found this helpful)The Parachute Regiment features as a providor of over 40% of the SAS - 10(V)PARA is my background.(Paras who stay para are seen to be sociable, big batallion guys, not loners)
