Reader Reviews:Truly awful (5/5 people found this helpful)The first time I listened to the CD I laughed most of the way through. The American speaker kept changing the way he spoke the phrases, sometimes sounding like he was bored and others like he was narrating a mild sex novel (which, by the way, was what the music sounded like); whilst the Polish speaker sounded like he/she was on speed, so sometimes you could not catch the Polish pronunciation. The sound quality was terrible. The booklet was fine so long as you have 20/20 vision - it looked like photocopied lists in pitch 8.
Speed Polish (3/3 people found this helpful)I was sorely dissapointed by this cd. The only useful thing about it is the booklet that comes with it (serves as a mini 225 word dictionary) The audio quality is BAD, sometimes one cannot hear the 'Polish' speaker, who sounds very digitised and strange. Basically it's a list of words, first spoken by an american then by a Polish voice. I would DEFINATELY NOT reccomend this to anyone. Unusual but effective system (7/8 people found this helpful)This system of listning to music is weird but it does actually seem to work. The great thing is that you can do something else whilst you listen. It may not be the only tool you need for learning a language but it sure is easy and crams many words into your brain.
