Dear Amazon. I need an option for zero stars to apply to this book. Not only does it fail to provide any insight into Gerrard as a player, person, or his views on other players, clubs, or football in general in this country, but the writing style is truely awful. Stilted and repetitive, I ended up giving up after a couple of chapters. His fans deserve something better.

Thinking this was the official autobiography was dissappointed with the content being more relative to explaining each season of football but not truly from Stevie's point of view but from quotes from papers etc. Still a good introductory read but wanted to know more from Stevie's point of view.
