Reader Reviews:Indispensable memoir and technical history (1/1 people found this helpful)Sir Stirling's memories of the cars he's driven and the events he drove them in -- the nearest we've yet seen to a comprehensive Moss autobiography. All the anecdotes and stories we'd hope for are in there, Doug Nye assists in sorting out some of the obscure historical details, Rob Walker contributes some material, and there's excellent photography. More extracts from Stirling's diary wouldn't go amiss and the car-by-car rather than strictly chronological treatment leads to some repetition and fragmentation. It'd be nice to see a truly definitive book on Sir Stirling both in his racing career and afterwards, but in the meantime this is excellent.
