This is an excellent book with well structured chapters that allow the student to follow, learn and review their progress as they read through the book.
This book is definately not aimed at the European market as all the calculations and examples follow the USA codes of practice, and use imperial measurements.
I (living in the UK) still found it a useful tool to have because the methods of structural drawing still relate to the methods used in the UK. The drawings are clear and give good examples of drawings to those new to the industry.
Unfortunately, there seem to be few books available in the UK covering this topic area.

This is a well thought out, carefully organized and well documented introduction to structural steel drafting. I am in a related industry and bought the book to further acquaint myself with the subject. I feel that I certainly got my money's worth, and congratulate the author on his conscientious and thoughtful presentation.
