A really clever little book. Lighthearted and fun to use yet at the same time you are learning and consolidating. Letters introduced in small batches with "progress report" on how many more you've got to learn. Highly reocmmended!

i found this book so very helpful, it was easy to read and understand, and now thanx to the authors i am finally starting to come to grips with learning greek, i do hope that the authors considered writing more books on greek grammer etc.
my one negative point is i would have liked to have known more as to when you should use the correct o or i.

If you want to learn the Greek alphabet, there is no better book on the market. Best of all, because it is written in a light manner, it doesn't feel like you're actually studying. Its presentation is fun, smooth, logical, and at the end of it (which only takes an hour or so) you will know the Greek alphabet and how to read Greek.

This book is a must have item for anyone who like me would like to be able to talk,read and write greek i was able to speak a little Greek that i had learnt from repeating phrases that i had learnt from other greek language sources.
But i was having trouble learning the Greek alaphabet,and this is where this book is invaluable it takes you through the alaphabet with a few letters at a time giving you practise to pronounce,read and write with the letters you have learnt before moving on to more letters,it is wrote as if you are following two tourists on there first visit to Greece.
I found i was reading Greek and able to move on with learning Greek with the help of this book, where as before i had come to the point where it was a struggle to continue. i would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn greek and you will find all your other greek learning material will become easier. You must buy it.

There is only one problem with 'Beginner's Greek Script,' you'll be wishing all Greek language books were written in such a manner. While you won't be able to read Greek newspapers or books, you will be able to get your way around signs, menus, notices and advertisments, sounding out all words you come to. Small in size and price, if you are just starting to learn Greek, this book will become the most important one you own. This reviewer only wishes the same writing team continues on and tackles Greek verbs in the same manner.
