Reader Reviews:Good introduction to the world of film (2/6 people found this helpful)A great 'beginners guide' to the film industry, with notes from Hitchcock's works and background into what it takes to make a movie. The best introduction to film studies I have seen (15/15 people found this helpful)This is the best introduction to film studies and the cinema that I have seen. It covers evrything I wanted to know about in a clear and accessible language. It is sensibly organised, and illustrated with b&w photographs. At this price, I'd recommend it to everyone with more than a passing interest in the cinema.
