Reader Reviews:Provides an excellent insight (6/7 people found this helpful)Very good book in what i suspect is a good series. I will definately purchase a book from this series again prior to going anywhere abroad. i have been to thailand, but purchased this book on my return. i what somewhat mortified to learn that i had unwittingly made a few faux pas's! never again! Most usefull (16/20 people found this helpful)My collection of books on Thailand has grown to about 50 titles. Culture shock has proven to be the most usefull and helped me when I first visited Thailand and still is my favorite. Fantastic series and this one doesn't disappoint (22/26 people found this helpful)I bought the Culture Shock Egypt book not long ago, and was extremely impressed by it. As soon as I knew I was going to Thailand I bought this book, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. It is invaluable when understanding Thailands cultures, and all the do's and don'ts that you need to know about before you go!!!
