good recipes - needs more pictures (2/2 people found this helpful)

I don't know whether you're like me but as an enthusiastic but inexpert cook I like to see pictures of what I'm aiming for and this is what's missing from a lot of the very good recipes in this book. The recipes are simple, clear, easy to follow and generally produce excellent results but I want more pictures!

Although this is the first book I have bought by Nigel Slater it is absolutely wonderful. If you like Nigel Slater you will love this book.

I bought this for a Christmas present for my son in law and he says it is more appropriate for a couple as many of the recipes are for 2 people, whereas most cook books are for 4 or more people. He can't wait to try out the recipes.

Excellent cookbook for people "on the go" who can't stop to smell the flowers ! Recipes for two people and all can be completed in approx. 30 minutes (not always possible but generally close)
