This is a really cool book. I found some of the names quite difficult but when you get into it its so strange and magical. It seems to me it's saying something else too than normal fantasies. Sometimes I didn't understand it all but that didn't matter. When Silas faces Mardak it's just amazing.

The "Alchemists of Barbal" is a brilliant book involving good and evil. It has a great plot, with some unexpected twists. It is also about the friendship of a boy and girl who face terrible evil. It is a great book which I would recommend to anyone who wants a good read.
