Reader Reviews:Why didn't I buy this book before? (3/3 people found this helpful)I would recommend this book to every single French horn player out there. Buy this book if only for the warm up section, it's fantastic. I have noticed a substantial improvement and I've only had the book a week! You aren't a horn player unless you have this book!! (0/0 people found this helpful)This book is just amazing! It's got everything for beginners to experts, including written out warm-ups to selected studies for improving technique. I can recommend this book to anyone that plays (or is thinking of playing) the horn. Both of my teachers have recommended this book, and 2 NSO and ex-CBSO teachers can't be wrong!! GET IT NOW! You dont know how much it can help YOU! Should be a part of every hornist's collection. (1/1 people found this helpful)This is a great book for all horn players to own, especially beginning hornists. I used it during my years at the Interlochen Arts Center and while a student of Greg Hustis at SMU. I still refer to it from time to time, and would recommend that all beginners own a copy. A must for all french horn players !! (2/2 people found this helpful)"Art of French Horn Playing" by Farkas is a must and bible for horn players.
