Reader Reviews:Very boring and very silly (0/0 people found this helpful)I never read a more stupid and cheesy book! I am a big fan of Santa and I picked up this book hoping to read an historical biography of him. Forget it!It is a very silly story which mixes famous historical figures from all ages without any sense or coherence. I found this book an insult to my intelligence and culture. Don't waste your money!Believe me! Excellent! (0/0 people found this helpful)I am an avid reader, and when I first read this book 5 years ago after meeting editor Jeff Guinn, I loved it. It is an amazing book and I read it to my little sister every Christmas. Please read this, I guarantee you will love it as much as I do. I was renewed in my faith in Santa and mankind (0/0 people found this helpful)I found this book to be about the importance of giving from the heart. As a social worker I often see when pride is lost when a person is in a situation were they must receive charity. Santa found a way to give to the needy and still have them obtain there pride. All through the book santa thanks to God for the ability to continue to give to others. This book is about the spirit of giving and should be cherished Helps you remember the true meaning of the Christmas season (0/0 people found this helpful)My wife gave me this book three years ago for Christmas. We read it together every year. It helps us to remember the true meaning of Christmas. A great book to share with families as well. We can't wait to start reading this to our son when he gets older! Heartwarming and wonderful (0/0 people found this helpful)Many children lose that christmas spirit by not believing in Santa Claus. This is because the crazy stories about him are so far-fetched and unbelievable. This book shows that he is real, and renews your faith in the fact that one man with a dream can do so much good. It effectively blends christian beliefs (Nicholas was, after all, a priest) with secular traditions and shows you the history of the season. And... the details of the story are real and factual enough to renew anyone's faith in Santa Claus. Similar ProductsCategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
