I love this book. The illustrations are beautiful, and it is printed on lovely thick paper - a real quality book. However, I must confess that I have never cooked from it, although it’s one of my favourite cookbooks, it is (to me) one of those ideas books. The recipes tend to have LOTS of ingredients, but just reading this book gives you lots of ideas for soups from around the world. I have only given it three stars for this reason, but a lovely book nonetheless.
