A well written and laid out book but generally unsuitable for United Kingdom readers as most of the techniques and advice are only suitable for houses that use North American construction methods. There are lots of glossy pictures that may give ideas or inspiration. But if you are looking for information about how to DIY window or door replacement in the UK do not bother with this book.
