I ordered this one three seperate times from amazon stores before eventually recieving my copy through amazon but I tell you it was well worth the wait! This has to be my most recommended book for people who enjoy home baking! This book contains almost any biscuit recipe you can think of and also includes savoury crackers, muffins, scones and traybakes! It has a lovely section at the front which gives you some insigt into the history of cookies and biscuits. I haven't put this one down since buying it! If you are going to buy one book dedicated to baking cookies buy this one!(it even gives you hints on wrapping and packaging biscuits as gifts!!

I picked this up for a fiver and I have to honestly say this is the best fiver I've spent in a long time! This book is so comprehensive with all the recipes you could ever need plus loads of advice on the different techniques for making biscuits, for piping and icing etc. The pictures are just beautiful and have given me so much inspiration for coffee mornings and picnics with the kids. The hardest part is deciding which to cook first! If you're wondering whether or not to buy this book then I would urge you to, I will definitely be recommending it to friends :-)

The title is apt - this book is a comprehensive collection of every biscuit recipe you'd (probably) ever need, each one accompanied by step-by-step images and a mouth-watering photo of the result.
As an exercise, think of something you might want to make:
Classics like chocolate cookies and shortbread? Yep.
Healthier stuff like oatcakes and cereal bars? Yep.
What about weirder biscuits like amaretti or those boudoir finger things to go in trifle? Yep, they're in there, along with hundreds of others.
There are plenty of ideas for baking to give as gifts or for picnics and parties.
I was given this book as a spontaneous random present on the condition that I made the giver the cookies on the front of the book - Greek honey creams. Very easy recipe and delicious results.

This is a great book, easy to follow recipies and quick ones too. Tried a few already since recieving it all good and fail proof. Great for the kids too to join in.
