Having already purchased a couple of books about ebay over the last year, I didn't really think there was anything else worth reading on the subject. Wrong! This book, by Robert Pugh, is a great guide for anyone wanting to sell on ebay, regardless of whether they are 'newbies' or established sellers.
There are so many useful tips in the book, that even the most seasoned of sellers will learn something new for improving their chances of making a sale.
Sure, if you are looking for an explaination every single technical aspect of the whole ebay world (and this book doesn't claim to do this), then there are other, more detailed volumes out there. But they wouldn't be 1/10th as interesting and readable as this book.
What sets this book apart is that it's written by a genuine powerseller, with insights and tips from someone making a full-time living on the auction site.
The clear and easy-going style of the writing makes for a terrific read, with easy to understand step by step guides to basic HTML (I read the book from cover to cover over one weekend and within one hour of finishing, I had added extra pictures to one of my ebay listings - hosted outside of ebay at no extra cost!).
Reading Robert's diary at the start of the book will inspire you to achieve the same level of work to home life balance that he achieved in just 2 years of ebay trading.
I recommend this book for anyone remotely interested in selling on ebay.

This book is amazing!
I find so many books about ebay and other auction sights rather dreary and boring to plough through, certainly not this book, it is extremely easy to read and understand!
I am an experienced ebayer and have found it to be invaluable.
I think it is certainly a good buy whether you are just starting out with ebay or if you have been with them for a while.

This book has everything you need to know about selling on E-Bay whether it's just a few small items or if you want to start your own business. I found it invaluable and also easy to read, with very simple but very effective tips and ideas to boost your sales.

The first chapter is 'A Day In The Life Of An eBay Trader' which makes very interesting reading to say the least. Robert then gives us a step by step guide in how to start out on eBay and how to make a success of your business, the things to watch out for, managing your paperwork, developing your online business and much more, in fact just about everything you need to know about succeeding on eBay. Robert Pugh is a top eBay PowerSeller with thousands of 'Positive Feedbacks' to his name and 6 years of experience trading on eBay which, to my mind makes him one of best possible people to answer any eBay question you may have.I would thoroughly recommend this book to ANYONE who is interested in selling on eBay.
I also get Robert's 'eBay UK Bulletin' by email so I know first hand what a helpful, friendly guy he is.

I buy a lot of Ebay guides and i liked this one.The tips will come in more than handy and the advice on listings will reduce your listing costs and pay for this book.
