This limited edition(500 copies) deals with the history of the AdenProtectorate Levies-1927 -1961 and theFederal Army of South Arabia- 1961-1967.At £29.95 it is pricey.Itis well written giving a virtual daily account of happenings the accuracy ican vouch for as i was there(1953-4).The pictures are terrible printed on the same matt paper as the text with no enhancement attempted.Tte author talks of the Khormksar base hospital ,there was nosuch place it was the APL hospital.Finally in my time with the APLs the word gaysh the title of this book was never used.
