The diary of an ego maniac (0/0 people found this helpful)

I expected this book to be so much more - foolish of me to believe the Moyles self generated hype. From the first page to the last this is purely and simply a declaration by Moyles that he is fantastic and we should all thank god he is alive to bring joy into our lives.

boring (0/0 people found this helpful)

I learnt nothing about him. Felt that he was just writing rubbish to fill his word quota. Was bored from start to finish.

why buy it? (0/2 people found this helpful)

Haven't read this, wouldn't buy this, why buy this?? Chris Moyles - an opinionated, morbidly obese creep, who slimes over every woman he "interviews". Spend your money elsewhere.

Must try harder... (0/1 people found this helpful)

This is more a collection of `funny' anecdotes than an autobiography and if you listen to Chris Moyles's Breakfast Show then I wouldn't bother reading this because you'll have heard it all before.
Don't get me wrong - I am a huge fan of Chris Moyles, I think he's hilarious and I love what he does, but I get the impression with this book that he thought writing it sounded like a good idea at the time and then he lost interest when he realised it was harder than it first seemed.
There's not much content, no juicy gossip or revelations and to be honest I was a bit disappointed with the book as a whole. And maybe with less apathy and reluctance he could have done much better. Must try harder...

Talentless Gospel (2/3 people found this helpful)

Chris Moyles is probably the most ego-tistical, big-headed, loud-mouthed DJ the world has ever seen. This book is awlful, dreadfully awlful. The language is hard to read, filled with dreadful slang, a few spelling mistakes, and everything is shot out like he is a God or something. "The Gosepel According to Chris Moyles" is a rip, a big rip, do not buy this. Save your money and buy Jools Holland's autobiography instead.
