Reader Reviews:A good reference book for the beginner... (4/4 people found this helpful)Peggy Spencer's book is the right book to buy if you are a beginner, wishing to practise at home and need something to refer back to. It is, however, a bit too basic and frothy for the more advanced and serious dancer.
Good for the Struggling amateurs (4/4 people found this helpful)This book is well written; although it would be an excellent book to learn to dance at home, it is better as a supplementary text to a beginner's course. Learn a step, or a hold in the class and read about it in the book and in a few weeks you will improve immensely.
