Reader Reviews:Brilliant ***** (0/0 people found this helpful)What a bloody brilliant book...i brought it as i wanted to read the book before i watched the TV film they made of it...and is now my favourite book of all time...i love everything Martina Cole writes but this is by far the best out of all so far...has a really gripping story line...only downfall being that is was a bit slow to start with but got going within a few chapters...the characters are either completley loveable or loathable...and gives us a bit of insight into what really happens behind bars...the only bad thing i have to say about Martina Cole is that she uses certain words far too much and sometimes can get a bit grating...her favourite two seem to be "proverbial" and "consensus" but thats her only faults...she is my favourtie author and even the less gripping books are still brilliant with a majic twist at the end that no one could foresee...so if you also love Martina Cole or even just enjoyed one or two of her books you will love this...!!! Brill (0/0 people found this helpful)It was a little slow in the begining but WOW!! This book is brill - There are some fantastic twists through out the book. This is a must read! Slightly disappointed (1/2 people found this helpful)This was my third Martina Cole book. I loved the Graft, I thought Closer was ok, but this one I really didnt enjoy that much. I am told that some of her other books are really brilliant, so I havent let this put me off.
A fantastic Read (2/3 people found this helpful)I was told by a friend to read this book and I am so glad that I took her advice.
GRIPPING & FAST MOVING (2/2 people found this helpful)I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As usual from Martina Cole, very gripping with lots of bad language, bad people and a fantastic humorous twist at the end. This one centres around Donna who doesn't realise she's married to a naughty boy. She soon has to wake up to all he's done (and it's bad !) and by the end of the book she's no longer the naïve innocent that she started out married life as. I don't know whether her description of `being inside' is accurate but if it is, it's a very frightening place. Similar ProductsCategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
