Slightly disappointed (1/2 people found this helpful)

This was my third Martina Cole book. I loved the Graft, I thought Closer was ok, but this one I really didnt enjoy that much. I am told that some of her other books are really brilliant, so I havent let this put me off.

I think overall the story line was quite good, I just found it wasn't gripping. I didnt find myself not putting it down. Normally I read a good book in a few days, but this took me well over a week to read it.

A fantastic Read (2/3 people found this helpful)

I was told by a friend to read this book and I am so glad that I took her advice.
On the strength of this book Martina is the best female crime writer in the business.
She is far better than Lyda La Plant and I wish this book was a TV series - it is like a X-rated Bad Girls.
I have read two fantastic books this year - THIS - and a novel by Garry Jackson called TILL DEATH US DO PART - both are classics and deserve to be best-sellers.
Martina makes me proud to be a women and has inspired me to write a book about my life as a glam model, lap dancer and TV extra.

GRIPPING & FAST MOVING (2/2 people found this helpful)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As usual from Martina Cole, very gripping with lots of bad language, bad people and a fantastic humorous twist at the end. This one centres around Donna who doesn't realise she's married to a naughty boy. She soon has to wake up to all he's done (and it's bad !) and by the end of the book she's no longer the naïve innocent that she started out married life as. I don't know whether her description of `being inside' is accurate but if it is, it's a very frightening place.

Another great book! (4/6 people found this helpful)

Another great Martina Cole - she really draws you into the storyline and creates empathy for the main character (in this case, Donna)and such contempt for the Brunos family.

The second Martina Cole book I got and I've re-read it a few times.

Well worth a read!

The Jump-WOW! (2/3 people found this helpful)

It was the first Martina Cole book I read and wow! I now spend hours on Amazon finding more of her books.
Be prepared not to be able to put it down, the twists are superb.
If you only read one book this year, pick up a Cole one, you won't regret it.
