I am writing this to warn you to be careful when ordering this from Amazon as I can't get a response from Customer Service. I needed this book for a Confirmation with a week to go. I saw that it would take a few days by normal delivery and so decided to pay a lot more for faster delivery. When I got my email it told me the estimated delivery would be two months later than the normal delivery! I contacted customer services and explained how urgent this was and was promised a response the next day which never happened and am still trying to get through to complain. As a regular customer I am now wondering is this Amazon going downhill in relation to reliability? Be careful when you order this as obviously something is not working correctly.....I am now left with no gift to take which is very frustrating when I have paid £8 extra to ensure delivery.

This is an amazing publication, detailing and translating the most well known and famous parts of the bible in sequential order in a style that anyone can understand and readily take in, opening the bible to all who want to taste salvation and the Word of God. I bought a copy for myself after seeing a Welsh language version - I've since given away my copy to my 11 year old nephew, who has recently come to the Lord, and he loves it - from Creation through to the New Jerusalem, everything is in there for all to savour.

My husband teaches the Bible in schools. We bought this Bible because it is so different - and the kids absolutely love it. He was in a hard school the other day, one of those where the kids look sophisticated and above it all. Yet when he handed the Lion Graphic Bible around they quickly became engrossed in it and asked where they could buy one. This from kids who had never picked up a Bible willingly before!
This Bible is ALL in picture/cartoon format. The stories are short enough to keep kids' attention but long enough to get the message across. The drawings are lively and captivating. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Phenomenal graphics that rival the best Marvel comics has to offer. Demonstrates the interesting characters in scripture in colorful comic book style. Really held my interest.
