3/5 stars

A good introduction to fundamental analysis of markets (0/0 people found this helpful)

This is written in a very entertaining and accessible way and is highly recommended for anyone starting out as a trader or investor that wants to know what sort of research you need to do. This is not a book for anyone interested in technical analysis, the only TA Robbie covers is the head and shoulders pattern, and then only very briefly. But if you're interested in fundamental analysis, or just want a general introduction to the markets, this is a great book to start with.

Easy to understand, simple to execute (0/0 people found this helpful)

I bought this book and, for someone who's got a short attention span, finished it within a few weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Have invested my first £1000 using Robbie's guidelines, the FTSE fell, 2/3 of the oil sector fell, my share went up. If I can understand this book then any other idiot can.

Extremely practical (3/3 people found this helpful)

Before starting to trade in shares, I decided to read as many books as possible on the subject. This was the 10th book. I wish I'd read it first. It is an extremely practical book, and I have used its guidelines and principles to buy into two stocks which are both doing very nicely.

Very entertaining and informative (2/2 people found this helpful)

I'm an avid reader of The Naked Trader website and have been looking forward to reading this book since its publication. I wasn't disappointed.

The author is full-time trader and his style of writing conveys the subject well. Although he writes in a light and chatty style do not be put off, the underlying message and recommendations are very sound and in particular, I thought the chapter on his own mistakes/losses was very imformative. In addition, there are plenty of charts and illustrations to back up his teachings.

If your focus is stocks, this is a good purchase.

One of the best books I have read on Trading for normal reader (2/2 people found this helpful)

It's all been said before but I have found this one of the easiest and insightful books on the subject of stock and shares trading. If believe that stocks and shares make your money work more for you than any other option but do not know where to start...begin with this book. I think this book is about 3 books in 1. Great value, great writing style. Thanks Rob.
