Reader Reviews:If you love Puddings this is THE Book to buy (0/0 people found this helpful)I am so impressed with this book, I paid over and beyond the RRP to buy it because it is sooooooooo hard to get hold of, I have been trying for so long, my mother originally saw it on Richard and Judy, and asked for it for Christmas way back in 1997 - I couldn't get it, because it had sold out, and that has been the story ever since, When I finally got my hands on a copy I have been cooking non stop, these are the most delicious puddings ever, simple to prepare and a real nostalgia trip, Pudding is a great British thing, the rest of the world have their fancy desserts, but at the end of the day a good pudding of substance is real comfort food, the sort of thing you eat with the family after a good meal, the thing memories are made of.... I hope that there will be more sequills to this book. Delicious! A year round winner. (5/6 people found this helpful)With over 100 steamed or baked puddings to choose from, you are sure to find a favorite or two. Organized in sections such as Winter Warmers and Festive Occasions, it is almost as enjoyable to read the book as it is to eat the results. My favorite so far is Lord Randall's Pudding with apricots and marmalade. The most difficult part of any receipe is waiting for the pudding to steam. If you enjoy puddings, you will love this book.
