Let down by "Norty Hedgehog" (6/6 people found this helpful)
This book is in general let down by the very first story of a disobedient hedgehog whose mother says to him things like - push off then, so get lost, stay here and freeze to death then and I could give Norty a good hiding he deserves it. This one story is a sad reflection of modern day family life and more suitable for an episode of eastenders than a young childrens book. However many of the other stories are wonderful, funny and moral. Excellent illustrations.
