It covers basically everything (phases of war, organisation of Soviet forces, their equipment, training, tactics of Mujahideen, soviet tactics...). This book is unique because it offers soviet view. Editor offers his comments when soviet text is either unclear or different than other sources. Excelent book for anybody interested in Afghanistan, Soviet Union wars or guerilla in general.
