I worked at Stones Restaurant during the summer of 1985. It was a very popular haunt for both local and far travelled visitors, the food was delicious. It is such a shame that it has now closed, but why not buy the cookbook and try out the fantastic recipes for yourself.

Stones WAS a fabulous non-meat restaurant, and this is a great book - BUT THE RESTAURANT IS NOW RUN BY THE NATIONAL TRUST SO DON'T GO EXPECTING THE SORT OF FOOD THAT'S IN THIS BOOK.
